Difference Makers

I watched our Home Loan Specialist step away from an event he was at to connect with several departments to find a solution. It was no easy problem to solve, but they didn’t give up and landed on a solution that would work and allow the closing to happen. He then went to work on the ten thousand or so things that had to be done to pivot loan products and structure and get the proper paperwork to the borrower in time. 

At 11:00 pm EST, we literally had every coast covered. Our HLS on the East, processing team in Nashville, and compliance team on the West Coast were all coordinating together to serve this family. It was beautiful to watch teammates step aside from their personal time, late into the night, to care for this couple and each other with a tremendous attitude and commitment. It was simply magic.

"Huram was extremely skillful and talented in any work in bronze, and he came to do all the metal work for King Solomon." (1 King 7:14)

When people with unique skills come together with a great attitude and a single-minded mission, significant things get accomplished.

A full appreciation and respect for each other and their role in the process leads to a level of care too often lost in this world.

This couple went from tears of sorrow and fear earlier in the day to tears of joy and gratitude at the end. They will start their new life in a new home and never forget the team loving them enough to do whatever it took to make that happen. Thank you, team, for being difference-makers!!!
