Let's Roll!

And he was killed for it, by a weak man too afraid to do the right thing in fear of public humiliation, egged on by a woman who was scorned because he called her out for doing wrong.  

We need more men and women like John the Baptist, Charlie Kirk, and Todd Beamer.  

"Because of God's tender mercy, the morning light from heaven is about to break upon us, to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, and to guide us to the path of peace." (Luke 1:78-79)

On September 11, 2001, as he sat on hijacked flight United 93, Todd Beamer picked up the airplane phone from the seat back in front of him, told the operator what was going on, prayed the Lord's Prayer, recited Psalm 23, said let's roll, hung up, and walked into the valley of the shadow of death, saving unknown numbers of lives in the process.

When the voice of evil shouts louder than the voice of love, we must take a stand.

A stand on conviction, doing the next right thing, and truth. We must claim the prophecy of Zechariah above when his son John was born. Call upon God's mercy and for the morning light of heaven to give light to the darkness and guide us to peace.  

Join me in serving one another in love today. That's standing up to evil and hate. The only thing evil needs to expand its influence in the world is for good men and women to do nothing. That's not an option. Tolerance is not a biblical virtue; courageous action is. “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for you are with me”.
